Zee Wines are produced on Anura Vineyards nestled in the foothills of the
Simonsberg Mountains in South Africa. Grapes are selected from different
vineyard blocks with great attention to fruit quality, variety character
and terroir. Wines are made using both traditional and “new world”
methods to create wines with both the upfront fruit character and complex
bouquet and palate. White wines are made in an accessible, crisp and fruity
style with the use of very little, if any oak maturation. The red wines
are all fermented in small tanks with careful attention paid to temperature
and flavour development during the fermentation process. The red wines are
all matured in French oak barrels in order to allow the wine to soften and
develop a more complex flavour profile.
Zee wines are made in a relaxed, “easy-going” style and are
simply ZEE wines to be enjoyed amongst friends at a barbecue or any other
occasion you might think of. |
